So who is Dr.Connie Hambrock,PhD.? Born the fifth child of an Aircraft Mechanic and Yankee Artist/Poet on Halloween in a small southern town, she didn't start out as a healer. Her mother and siblings all had special gifts. Originally, if her mother had been asked, she might have said Connie's gift was the gift of gab. She was always being told to "write it down" because her family got tired of listening to her always talking about the fairies and tree sprites' conversations.
At five, she had her first prophetic dream. Her mother and one of her sisters had the same dream at the same time.Connie's mother, Floy, trained her in how to interpret her dreams and how to distinguish prophetic dreams from nightmares and regular dreams. When she first had prophetic dreams of friends, her mother warned her not to share them outside of the family, because people might think she was crazy or might want her to perform on cue. Floy knew of many who had been gifted that were institutionalized. She warned Connie to be very careful in sharing her gifts with others.
When she was 17 she started the Registered Nursing Program where she learned a great deal about alopathic medicine. When Connie was 19, Floy was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given no more than three months to live. In psychology lab at college they were doing experiments with biofeed back and guided imagery, so she brought those ideas home to try with her mother. At first the guided imagery didn't seem to work but then the first tumor resolved it's self by the two month period. Together they developed a technique that brought her lymphoma into remission several times over the next eight years.
