    Hambrock Holistic Healing Center Receives

             2009 Best of Herndon Award

U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 -- Hambrock Holistic Healing Center has been selected for the 2009 Best of Herndon Award in the Massage Therapists category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Cambridge Who's Who/ - HERNDON, VA, March 1, 2008, Connie Hambrock, Ph.D, NBCMT, CH, CI, president and center director of Heaven and Earth Healing Center, Hambrock Holistic Healing and the HypnoTherapy Institute of Northern Virginia, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of holistic therapy. Dr. Hambrock, a lifetime Cambridge Who's Who member, integrates a variety of alternative methods, including massage and hypnosis, to treat and educate her clients.

With over 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Hambrock has an impressive background in holistic therapy. Since she was very young, Dr. Hambrock understood the mind's capacity to heal physical impairments and pain. While her mother had cancer, Dr. Hambrock learned about allopathic healing methods while attending nursing school. Through breathing techniques and emotionally charged imagery, she was able to help her mother create cancer remissions and extend her life eight years longer than the Oncologist's three month prediction.

Dr. Hambrock became certified in a variety of techniques, including pregnancy and infant massage, Hypnotherapy, HypnoFertility and HypnoBirthing - a natural childbirth method that is often rendered painless by an induced calm, relaxed and focused state. Hambrock Holistic Healing Center offers several regimens including Massage, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral, Healing Touch, Reiki and HypnoTherapy. In 2007, she opened the HypnoTherapy Institute of Northern Virginia, offering NGH certification, and coursework in certified Clinical Hypnosis. Her latest endeavor, Heaven and Earth Healing Center, will host allopathic and alternative healthcare providers working together in a green facility. The under-construction hub is in partnership with the non-profit Pelican Nest Learning Resource Center in Baton Rouge, LA.

Dr. Hambrock received her Ph.D. in Herbal Studies and Master's Degree in Holistic Medicine from Shepperton University and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Journalism from The University of West Florida. She is a member of the American Massage Therapists Association, National Guild of Hypnotherapists, and The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
